DEMYSTIFYING SHAMBHALA

Part of our Kalachakra Bardo Phowa Teaching Series July 18-24

“Our most essential need is ultimate peace and harmony. The source of this perfection is the Sublime Realm of Shambhala.”
~Shar Khentrul Rinpoche

This is a rare opportunity to learn Kalachakra Tantra from a renowned Jonang Scholar and Tibetan Buddhist Rime Master Shar Khentrul Rinpoche. This evening will clear away the mystery that has shrouded Shambhala for ages. Learn how to bring peace and harmony into our world and cultivate it in your everyday life.  This evening’s teaching is one in a series preparing students to understand the profound practice of Kalachakra especially in relation to the Bardos. This series culminates in a Kalachakra Phowa Retreat and Empowerment Ceremony.

Students wishing to attend the Phowa retreat who have not previously received a Kalachakra empowerment are asked to attend the preparatory teachings July 18-21.

The Kalachakra Initiation and Retreat will be held in San Pedro, South of Los Angeles. The talks will be spread through Los Angeles to allow a wide number of people to attend them. All venues are accessible by public transportation. You can also take Uber or Lyft easily between locations.

Your best bet is to look for lodging on AirBnb.

Accomodations in San Pedro, Long Beach and surrounding areas will be most convenient to the Initiation itself. There will be a talk on the West Side of LA, East side of LA and one just South of Downtown. Please plan ahead!
