Rimé Kalachakra Team

Rime Kalachakra is a collaborative effort of students, friends, volunteers and sponsors around the United States. We provide the necessary resources, capital, manpower, and knowledge to fund the empowerments and teachings of Kalachakra and Rimé philosophy to support the community of Khentrul Rinpoche’s dharma students and practitioners in the United States. This organization is entirely volunteer based and affiliated with the Dzokden Foundation. We are in process of filing for our 501.3c.

Spiritual Director
Shar Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche is a renowned Jonang Kalachakra Scholar and buddhist Rimé master. He was originally born in the mountain ranges of the Golok region of Tibet. After taking full ordination, he studied and practiced with more than 25 teachers from all of the major Tibetan Buddhist traditions, earning himself the title of “Rimé Master”. He was later officially recognised as the reincarnation of the great masters Lama Ngawang Chözin Gyatso and Ghetse Khentrul. When he was chosen to be a teacher (khenpo) of the prestigious Tsangwa Monastery in Dzamthang, Rinpoche chose to renounce his position though in favor of dedicating himself to strict practice.

Francisco grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado where he is an MA candidate to graduate in May 2019 from the Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology program at Naropa University. He is currently an intern at a local Boulder non-profit mental health organization, where he works as a clinical therapist for the adult outpatient population of the area. Francisco has been practicing Tibetan Buddhism since 2012, and has been a student of Khentrul Rinpoché for 3 years.
